Ephraim was born and raised in New Hampshire growing up in the New England blues scene and touring with many top musicians: Luther “Guitar Jr” Johnson, Roomful of Blues, J Giles, Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, the Blood Brothers (with and without Bill Merry), Poppa Chubby, and many more. That scene is characterized by a dense network of heritage venues, active regional societies, and a robust summer festival circuit that draws national talent.
